George Cohen has developed and managed high-impact public relations and marketing communications programs for both
established and emerging high-tech companies for more than 20 years. Using advanced, web-based PR resources as well
as traditional PR efforts George has assisted clients through periods of rapid growth, IPOs, acquisitions, divestitures
and other corporate milestones.
His vast experience means he has extensive and comprehensive relationships with editors and analysts who cover high-tech
and business issues.
During his career, Cohen has served as senior public relations manager at Dun & Bradstreet Software, where he managed
worldwide PR and event program development for this $500 million D&B division. In that role he directed media/consultant
relations, seminars, speaking opportunities, the production of marketing newsletters and corporate sponsorships. He
also developed and implemented an award-winning worldwide (10 countries) integrated marketing program with direct
marketing, PR and event components that enhanced customer relationships and built market position awareness.
Prior to D&B Software, he was public relations manager for McCormack & Dodge, Dun & Bradstreet Software's predecessor. In
that role he managed the company's PR program and the transition to D&B Software. Previously, he was a copy editor at
Computerworld, where he edited the newspaper for style, clarity and consistency and wrote for the "New Products" software
section. Cohen earned a bachelor's degree in history from Union College and master's degree in journalism from Boston University.
