With homebuyers, the makers of building products and the government clamoring for new ways to build green homes, the National
Association of Homebuilders developed the Green Building Initiative, a major effort to get homebuilders across America to
take up the challenge of green building.
Decker Marketing Communications developed the GBI website, created innovative trade advertising to make builders take notice
and got the GBI out and in the residential home building market place years ahead of the U. S. Green Building Council to take
up the dominant position in residential green building.
